Clay Doux

Clay Doux lives in that liminal space between the tactile and the imagined — where the scent of playdough, soft vinyl, powdered sugar, and sun warmed skin all meet. It opens in a smooth and enveloping puff of heliotropin  — sweet,  almond-like, softly powdery, slightly cherry and strangely nostalgic. 

The floral heart is a muguet-fresh blend that gives the impression of molded petals or floral lotion warming in the hand.  Undernearth is a rounded enveloping cloud of white musks made all the more velvety with resinous touches of labdanum and vanillin.

A earthy hint of vetiver grass rounds out the composition keeping it tethered to reality, but only just. This is a scent that plays with form and memory — cozy, surreal, a little off — like a beloved object from childhood you forgot still existed.
